New York, New York

New York, New York!

So good they named it twice.

Finally! I've visited New York City - a place I've been meaning to visit for the longest time. See mention in my first blog entry if you don't believe.

Ah... New York City, the capital of the world, this city of all cities ... where do I start?

Perhaps a pictorial tribute of some iconic sights for starters.

Chrysler Building - my absolute favorite NYC architecture, doused in shades of pink. Very Sex And The City, eh?

Flatiron Building - my second favorite NYC landmark building

And of course, the grand 'ole dame, the Grand Central Building

Manhattan Skyline

Spot the omnipresent Empire State Building. No wonder the car plates spot the tag - "New York. The Empire State" vis-a-vis New Jersey, the Garden State and Florida, the Sunshine State etc.

Another NY icon in itself, the ubiquitous NY cab! The awesome Yellow shade before the entrance of Chrysler Building.

We have the cab, how about the bus?

Harlem baby. And the Apollo Theater

The Red, White & Blue. The 50 stars on the flag representing the 50 U.S. states.

New York City is the nice place. The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco skyscraper in New York City. The tower culminates in a beautiful, tapered stainless steel crown that supports the famous spire at its peak. The first man-made structure to stand over 1047 feet tall, and remains an elegant Art Deco beacon in the Manhattan skyline.
